Throwback Thursday

Every Thursday from now on, FGCT will be taking it back to the old school.

We’ll get to the 80s vids eventually, but today I wanted to feature the edit that changed my perception of fixed gear bikes.

The first time I saw this clip, it completely blew my mind. Before that, my fixed gear was just a way from getting from A to B. I never thought it was possible to do freestyle on the thing.

The riding is still dope, even by today’s standards. (Wheelie across a busy intersection – WHAT?!) And although it’s only two years old, this edit shows how fast the scene has progressed.
