Vans Vault x Brooks Fall 2010

If you co-ordinate your outfit to match your bike, you’ll LOVE this. Vans Vault have collaborated Brooks Saddles to produce a reworked Era and matching saddle. The Era is constructed from soft black premium leather, with embossed graphics on the tongue (to match the saddle) and a dark brown leather heel tab.

Macaframa x Nike?

Hello hello, what’s this then? A possible collab between Macaframa and Nike, or a NikeiD fantasy? Regardless, they look ILL!

Cadence Summer 2010

San Francisco-based label Cadence has some really great pieces in its new Summer collection. I’m particularly feeling the 5-panel cap!

Supreme x Vans: Sk8-Hi Mid & Era

Hypebeast reports that Vans will be teaming up with skate/lifestyle brand Supreme to release two new styles for SS10. Both shoe designs will feature a custom bleached denim upper and the Sk8-Hi Mid will feature suede details. While these aren’t cycling-specific, they’re worth checking out.

Vans Era Pro Fall 2010

Highsnobiety just posted the first preview of the Vans Era Pro for Fall 2010. The low top classic comes in four colorways and features a special footbed, tuff tech suede and other nice features to make them more resistant to the skating and riding.

The blue and black colourways have my name all over them:

DVS x Cadence Fall 2010

The Foot Down just posted some photos of the DVS x Candence Fall 2010 samples. The lows look aight but it’s the mids I’m feeling. The waxed canvas makes them super water resistant, and the tongue is attached to the upper so that should stop even the most pesky of raindrops. Handy on a day like today.

No word yet on whether they’ll be available in South Africa, but fingers crossed.

Vans “Italian Cycles” Collection

While this is an interesting concept, it still seems like money for old rope to me.

Anyhow, here’s the detail from Hypebeast:

Presented within Vans’ “Italian Cycles” Collection, this new pack showcases the Supercorsa in an all-canvas motif, with each colorway representing specific honors per Italian cyclists. Featured is the white jersey (Best Young Rider), Rose (Leader-Champion), Green (King of the Mountains), Pink (Best Sprinter), and black (Last Place).

adidas Originals – the street where originality lives

The new adidas Originals commercial shot around London’s east streets.

adidas definitely aren’t the first brand to feature fixed gear bikes in their ads, but it’s further confirmation that this “scene” is now mainstream.

Was that Gus and Mikey from 14BikeCo? Big up to all my guys!

Nike SB Zoom Salazar Preview

Here’s the first look at Nike SB’s Omar Salazar signature shoe (via HypeBeast).

The Zoom Omar Salazar combines classic (read: Half Cab) styling with Nike’s Flywire technology. Sure, it’s an ape of a classic, but they still look pretty dope. Maybe Baseline and ShelfLife will order some in the blue colourway?

Edit: There’s also two Salazar signature tees due out. Designs include a portrait broken arm tee as well as a tee playing off the “outer space” theme for the sneaker, which happens to be Omar’s nickname.
