Cycleangelo’s Cannondale Track

I posted a shot of Cycleangelo‘s Cannondale Track a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve had a crush on this bike for a lot longer. The Glacier Blue Metallic model came out in 1992 and is pretty much a modern classic. Handmade in the USA using fillet-brazing, the geometry is super tight and stiff, meaning it’s responsive and fast as hell. I need it in my life!

NJS Anchor

The purists would probably turn their noses up at an NJS bike without drops. You can’t please everyone, I guess. Stick a rack on the front and it would be my perfect shopping bike.

Tokyo Fixed Gear X Nike Tied Together

Tokyo Fixed Gear have been collaborating with Nike on their Tied Together project – part of an AIDS-awareness campaign for the (RED) charity. Each of the collaborators had to design a team t-shirt, so TFG took inspiration from their favorite Manga, Akira.

Nike also commissioned them to build a bike for the Tied Together show. So TFG teamed up with Feather Cycles and Death Spray Custom to produce one of the hottest collabs I’ve ever seen. Seriously. It’s a beast!

Velo Cult: Bilenky Track Bike

Damn. San Diego bike shop Velo Cult have just taken delivery of a couple of hand made Bilenky frames. To celebrate, they posted a droolworthy photoset of one of their show bikes.

What a beauty. Check out more here.

Charge x Carhartt fixed gear bike

This has been around for more than a little while but I’ve been slow on the uptake. Sorry.

Carhartt has its roots in American workwear, but the brand has a strong streetwear presence in the UK. Looks like they’ve teamed up with UK-based Charge Bikes for a colab on the popular Plug.

They even got Charge team rider Juliet Elliott to model the bike for us. Isn’t that nice.

BOTD: Horse Cycles’ Priest Lugged Track

If you’re following the FGCT Twitter feed, you’ll know I weed a bit in my pants when I spotted this beauty last night.

Horse Cycles are a one-man outfit operating out of Brooklyn, New York. Their past projects are all pretty rad, but it’s the Priest Lugged Track that really stands out for me.

I’m a real sucker for a lugged twin crown fork.

Digging the tight clearance on the seat stay bridge, too.

The crosses on the back of the seat stays remind me of The Exorcist for some reason.
